The George

‘The George’ was shot to show the powerful colonial presence and grandeur that still prevails in the once British colony of Georgetown, on Penang Island in Malaysia. In his usual style, Hruby shot this photograph during early hours of the morning when no people are about. Thus, he says it allows the architectural power of the building to stand on its own in a very grand and elegant way. He also liked the name.  :-)
