Sunset in Penang

This sunset photograph is taken along Chulia Street at Love Lane, in Georgetown on Penang Island. As people are headed home from work, others are already out and about as the pubs suddenly come to life. Remarkably, this street has been here since 1786. Indeed, all the beers and every liquor imaginable make all the pub signs become a blur, as sunset does the same during the transition from light to darkness. Every evening, this strip sees people from all over the world come together at their favorite watering holes, complete with food stalls and great international interaction over great food and drink.
