Storm Approaching Bordeaux
Having lived in Bordeaux for many years, Hruby often walked along the Garonne River daily. This particular day, yet another approaching storm in his life caught on camera. Turning his shot into yet another ‘painting’ on canvas, this one had a particular twist. He fashioned it around the 1804 oil-on-canvas painting by Pierre Lacour, labeled “View of part of the port and the quays of Bordeaux known as Chartrons and Bacalan.” Lacour’s painting today hangs at the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Bordeaux while Hruby’s is available to you here, just a click away to add to your cart. Hang this extraordinary art piece on your wall today, breathtaking colors provided by Mother Nature.
