11th Century St. Andres Cathedral under Moon

Shot on the empty and silent streets of Bordeaux during the early hours of the morning, the 11th century cathedral, complete with its detached belfry adorned with a golden statue of the Blessed Virgin, sits hauntingly under the light of a full moon as its gargoyles look on. This cathedral has been visited by such iconic Royals such as the Queen of both France and England, Eleanor of Aquitaine (Mother of King Richard the Lionheart) as well as Queen Elizabeth II.
