Blurred Memory under Moon
The Roman Coliseum in Nimes, France under a Full-Moon. Hruby, an international historian, saw this shot and a perfect opportunity to create a piece of art that exemplifies a point he often makes to audiences. Even with all the world’s Historians and Archaeologists, in the end, our true knowledge of what really occurred back in time is always slightly blurred. We do not know exactly what may have happened or how something was done, looked like, etc.. We can only do our best based on what we know today and hope that we will know more through ongoing research in the future. Thus, the full moon over the coliseum in Nimes leaves perhaps many blurred stories of those that entered its walls and never left.
