“I lived in Paris at the time and often found myself having much time to kill while I was there. I quenched my boredom often by spending my days getting lost at the Louvre. On one such venture, the museum was quite empty on that particular day and time. Lost I was in my most passionate addiction of ancient sculptures. Lost and in a daze, I found myself suddenly stopped and all alone in this very large room. I could not help but feel that I was being stared at from behind. I slowly turned around and found myself all alone in this room full of ancient Greek statues. They all looked as if they had been moving and suddenly stopped in motion when I turned around. I could not help but wonder if they had in fact done just that as I caught one peeking at me from around another statue indeed. Standing frozen and taking in this very unique moment, I raised my camera that hung around my neck and snapped their picture” George Hruby
